The Last Of The Live Animals Removed from DinoLand

Storks and Tortoise Removed from DinoLand USA at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Ahead of the DinoLand USA closure, Walt Disney World has removed the remaining live animals. The enclosures for the Abdim’s Storks and Asian Brown Tortoise are now empty. Marley the American Crocodile was moved from DinoLand in October.

Two large black storks are in an enclosure with a pond at the front, green grass at the back and surrounded by rocks. There are three wooden, brown logs on the ground

Soon, DinoLand USA will be replaced with a new Tropical Americas land featuring the village of Pueblo Esperanza. DINOSAUR will become an Indiana Jones themed ride. There will also be a new “Encanto” attraction and carousel. The Indiana Jones and “Encanto” attractions are set to open in 2027. DINOSAUR is set to stay open for the remainder 2025.

A grey concrete pathway leads to a brown fence. Beyond the fence is an animal enclosure full of green trees. The fence has a sign depicting a Tortoise
