Taste The Bayou Adventure At Walt Disney World

Savor the New Orleans flavors while taking a splash at the Magic Kingdom.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is set to open on June 28th and the culinary team at Disney has put together variety of foods and flavors to celebrate.  There is sure to be something for everyone while spending the day at the Magic Kingdom.

As soon as you enter the park, you’ll be able to take in the flavors inspired by “The Princess and the Frog.”  Stop by Main Street Confectionery for two new popcorn options.  Looking for that perfect pairing of chocolate and caramel?  Try Tiana’s Sweet Popcorn Serenade, a caramel popcorn with praline pecans, M&M’S Caramel Chocolate Candies, pretzel pieces, and dark chocolatey drizzle. If you prefer a savory popcorn, try Tiana’s Bayou Crunch.  This popcorn treats pairs Cajun cheddar popcorn with M&M’S Peanut Butter Chocolate Candies, cheddar crackers, pretzel pieces, and white chocolatey drizzle.  You will also find the Crisped Rice Cereal Treat Lily Pad and Pecan Praline Caramel Apple at the confectionery.

On the other end of main street, you’ll find the Butter Pecan Praline Sundae at the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor.  The Plaza Restaurant will be serving up Tiana’s Chantilly Cake, a vanilla chiffon cake, lemon Chantilly, and fresh strawberries topped with a fondant flower and a Tiana chocolate piece.  You will also find the Bayou Lavender Lemonade at The Plaza Restaurant.

Of course, Frontierland will continue the Bayou Adventure by serving up ride inspired treats for guests. Golden Oak Outpost will be the home Tiana’s Famous Beignets, a light, sweet and fluffy beignet that is dusted in powdered sugar and drizzled with honey.  Taste the southern cooking of New Orleans with the Shrimp Gumbo with Sweet Potato Fries or Hot Honey Chicken with Sweet Potato Fries.  Enjoy the shrimp and Andouille sausage gumbo or chicken nuggets coated in hot sauce-honey with a perfect side of Cajun-spiced sweet potato fries. The foodie finds will continue as you venture to Fantasyland.   Stop at Pinocchio Village Haus for the Peach Cobbler, a cinnamon panna cotta, peach cobbler, brown sugar streusel, and whipped cream with a Tiana chocolate piece.

Not spending the day at the Magic Kingdom, you’ll find a handful of Bayou Flavors at Disney Springs, select parks and at select resorts.  The Crisped Rice Cereal Treat Lily Pad and Pecan Praline Caramel Apple can also be found in Disney Springs at Goofy’s Candy Company or Disney’s Candy Cauldron, Zuri’s Sweets Shop at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Screen Door General Store at Disney’s Boardwalk and Bayview Gifts at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.   Starting June 28th, Amorette’s Patisserie will have the Over the Bayou Cake Bar.  Looking for that Bayou Lavender Lemonade?  You can order this beverage up at Dockside Diner at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Amorette’s Patisserie, Beaches Pool Bar and Courtyard Pool Bar at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Mardi Grogs Pool Bar at Disney’s French Quarter Resort.
