Star Wars: The Phantom Menace is celebrating it's 25th Anniversary and there's plenty of new merchandise out to help commemorate the milestone
Star Wars: The Phantom Menace is celebrating its 25th anniversary so like with any good Disney anniversary there's some new merchandise to help fans celebrate.
Darth Maul made his first appearance in Episode 1, wielding a double bladed lightsaber, and quickly became a fan favorite and iconic villain. So of course it fits that the first merchandise collection will be styled around Darth Maul. This collection features clothing, accessories, Loungefly collectables and more. The collection will launch on May 4th on the Disney Store website and at Walt Disney World.
Also launching May 4th is the new legacy lightsaber hilt set. The release is limited to 7,000 units and will be available on the Disney Store website and in Walt Disney World. The set, The Sith Apprentice: Darth Maul Legacy Lightsaber Hilt Collector's Box Set, comes numbered, in a unique wooden box with Darth Maul graphics. When the box is opened it lights up red and plays the Duel of the Fates theme.
Across the galaxy other items such as new Lego sets, statement wardrobe pieces from Her Universe and Pop! Vinyl bobblehead characters from Funko will also be available from favourite licencees. There's plenty for every Star Wars fan to enjoy!
