The Lion King 30th Anniversary treats are here!
You can feel the love from the Disney Culinary Team with these Lion King 30th Anniversary menu items! All summer long, enjoy these Lion King inspired eats at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Be prepared to have a hard time deciding what to try first!
Discovery Island has multiple Lion King finds full of flavor. Isle of Java will have Timon's Luau, a layered dessert of vanilla chiffon, passion fruit curd, guava jam, vanilla Chantilly cream, an edible tropical flower and a mint hula skirt. Even if you're aching for some bacon, this dessert will still hit the spot. For a refreshing beverage, visit Eight Spoons Café and try The Simba. The Simba is a mango-flavored slushy mixed with grenadine and toped with gummy grub. Tiffins Restaurant will be serving up Rafiki's Squash Banana shake and the "Remember Who You Are" The Lion King 30th Anniversary Dessert.
You don't have to dig through an elephant graveyard to find more Lion King specials amongst the fossils in DinoLand U.S.A. Restaurantosaurus will be dishing out the Shenzi Strawberry Lemonade and Scar's Rightful Ruler Cupcake. Trilo-bites will take you to the watering hole with the Zazu DOLE Whip Lime and Coconut Float and the Simba Paw Cookie.
Last but not least, journey to the pride lands of Africa for more finds. You don't have to look harder to find what Harambe Market has in store for guests. Try the You Follow Old Rafiki Cheesecake, a passion fruit-mango cheesecake with a coconut-lime crust, vanilla bean Chantilly, and chocolate candy. Have no worries for the rest of your trip with the Zazu Ice Cream Sandwich at Tamu Tamu Refreshments. Enjoy vanilla ice cream sandwiched between two blue cake-coated sugar cookies that are then topped with a chocolate Zazu medallion.
You can enjoy all the Lion King's 30th Anniversary offerings from now through September 9th.
