Update October 6th 1:17pm EST: Governor DeSantis has issued a state of emergency on Saturday October 5th which includes the county where Walt Disney World is located.
Tropical Storm Milton is projected to hit Walt Disney World mid-week as a possible Category 3 hurricane. At this time Disney has not issued any weather statements but we expect they will soon.
WDWNT is reporting that at this time all new Disney hotel reservations have been paused for Wednesday and Thursday, the projected time of the storm impact. They went on to explain that this is usually one of the first signs that Disney is prepping to have available rooms for their ride out crews who will stay on property to help with guests and operations during the impending weather.
