Disney World Rolls Out New Buses To Better Support Those With Mobility Aids

Updated: Feb 12

Great Disney Transportation News For Those Using Mobility Aids

You’d never know it from the outside of the newest Walt Disney World buses, but the these buses now have a better support system for wheelchairs and ECVs.

Those using mobility devices will still use the second door, but will now be using the Q-Straint system. Users will back their wheelchair or ECV onto the bus and then belt themselves into the system. A button will load an arm to secure it in place.

You can also see that seats fold up more flush than the older seats creating a much larger space to navigate in.

All seats on the new buses also have USB charging ports underneath.

It is great that Disney World rolls out new buses to better support park guests. But what do you think of this new design? Is this an improvement?
