Disney will begin closing park operations starting Wednesday at 1pm
Disney has just released updated weather and operational information about their theme park closures. At this time parks and Disney Springs will be closing tomorrow, Wednesday October 9th.
Closing at 1pm Wednesday: Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom
Closing at 2pm Wednesday: EPCOT, Magic Kingdom, and Disney Springs
Closed all day Wednesday: Typhoon Lagoon, Winter Summerland Miniature Golf and Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf
It is likely that parks will remain closed on Thursday October 10th. Disney is looking at possibly opening Disney Springs with limited options on Thursday late afternoon but
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is cancelled on Oct. 10. Tickets for the event will be refunded.
Walt Disney World Transportation ceasing operating Wednesday, Oct. 9 after parks and Disney Springs close for the evening.
Limited Minnie Van and Mears taxi service will be available to Walt Disney World Resort Guests.
Disney will not enforce cancellation policies until further notice for dining and other experiences. Those with pre-paid bookable experiences will be automatically refunded within 7 to 10 business days.
