Disney honors it’s past in the upcoming nighttime parade.
Disney Parks Blog has just shared a small update about the upcoming “Disney Starlight: Dream The Night Away” parade debuting this summer. They are drawing inspiration from nighttime parades of the past and tease to look out for some easter eggs in the upcoming parade.
The Disney Princess unit in the parade draw inspiration from one of my favorite Disney Legends and artists, Mary Blair. The flowing waterfall fountain from her concept art for Disney’s “Cinderella” will be used to bring the float to life.
Disney is also using new technology and fabrics to bring the parade costumes to life. As you can see in the picture the costume looks to be kissed by starlight.
