Josh D’Amaro Wasn’t Joking When He Said Things Were Already In The Works!
The Disney Company has just filed the initial permits for the first phase of expansion at the Magic Kingdom. Permits were filed for the Cars Expansion area that will take over the area that currently houses the Rivers Of America and Tom Sawyer Island. As with most large construction project these permits are for the construction staging lot and water management. According to the permits there will be three different construction yards with just one that will be slightly visible from the Rivers of America.
Don’t fret though, you’ll still be able to get your last ride on the Liberty Bell and walk around Tom Sawyer’s Island as construction will be starting early next year.
