Popular Ride Gets Update on Technology
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, which opened in the Tomorrowland section of Magic Kingdom in 1998, has had a much needed update. The tunnel section, which comes toward the end of the ride, has new projectors!
Permits for the update were filed in December and the modern projectors have now been installed. Emperor Zurg's ship, along with all the other alien objects, now stand out bright and sharp against the backdrop.
This is a great update for a beloved attraction.
