A Tropical Typhoon Of Closures

Updated: Oct 2

Typhoon Lagoon and several Disney Enchanting Extras are the first WDW offerings affected by Hurricane Helene

At the top of Disney's Five Key values is safety. Guest and Cast Member safety is their top priority at Walt Disney World. The WDW Resort is currently operating under normal conditions, with the exception of Typhoon Lagoon, The Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom Tours and Miniature Golf. Thunder and lightning storms tend to result in waterpark closures, and a hurricane is no exception to this. Waterpark visitors can expect the park to be closed Thursday, September 26th in preparation for inclement weather. Resort pools are currently unaffected.
